Back when my 4th son was in the midst of his multiple food allergies, there were very few things he could safely eat. One of his favorite foods at that time was bananas so I invented this 2 ingredient chocolate no-cook banana pudding.
He loved it and was glad to have his own pudding when the big kids were eating their own treats.
The best part about this banana pudding is that it’s completely healthy, comes together in about 30 seconds but still tastes like dessert. It’s great for little kids (and sometimes bigger ones).
No Cook Chocolate Banana Pudding
1-2 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
chocolate chips (optional)
Mash banana well with cocoa powder, garnish with optional chocolate chips and serve.
The recipe is (obviously) dairy free, nut free, egg free and gluten free.
Bigger kids may not appreciate this being called a pudding, but with smaller ones, just tell them what it is and they’ll happily accept your explanation.
